First Time Scare

  Yesterday I had my first mommy scare! Randi locked me out of the house, and she was inside the house ALONE! If this has not happened to you, just wait.  I suggest Hide a Key, which I did not have but now do.....Randi is so very smart though, and I was so happy that she is a good listener.  I talked her through going to the back door, getting her step stool from her room and climbing to unlock the back door.  Shwoooo.....all before daddy made it home.  Need to learn that "picking a lock thing".  Hopefully I won't have to go through that again.  

We are BACK!

We have not really been gone, just crazy busy.  For those of you who thought i might never sign in and blog again you are wrong! It has been about 8 months since i have posted anything, i know, horrible! We are all good and Randi is growing like a weed, just not the tallest one in the yard.;) She is fully potty trained and I'm pretty sure she wants her next challenge to be driving.  She is one determined little girl.  She loves playing the guitar and singing. It's so amazing how much those little brains can hold, just not enough time in the day.  Here are some pictures from the last couple of months and I promise to not be gone so long this time!

Today is a sad day. We lost one of our dear family memebers named Samantha. She had been in our family for 9 wonderful years. Her and Randi were besties and she will be dearly missed. You will always be in our hearts, We love you Samantha.

Kade's First Birthday

Saturday was Kade's first birthday party! He was not as interested as everyone else was but he still had a good time. The kids had a great time with the pinata and the bouncer and the weather was perfect.

Randi visits Mommy at work

Randi and daddy came to visit mommy at work, Randi had so much fun. She got to hang out with Aunt Dolly and run around pushing carts. Stay tunned to all of our adventures.

Sunday Fun Day!

Today was the best day! It was awesome outside and we decided it would be a great day for a slide! We went to toys r us and purchased a little piece of heaven! These people are genius. We put it in the back yard and had a blast!

After the sliding was over the boys played tea with Randi, so cute!

River House Party

This weekend we went down to the river house to finish up some projects and to celebrate Carrie turning the big 29! Friday night Casey and I went and completed the sheet rock, texture, and painting. Thank the good Lord I don't do that for a living. Its hard work. Saturday morning Karen, Roger, Randi, Corey, Carrie, Carson, and Colton joined us and helped finish the work.

The kids played outside and watched the crabs in the water off the pier. The grown ups took a boat ride, which thanks to Casey and his "short cuts" we got stuck in the mud. Next thing you know we found ourselves outside the boat, pushing. Weird thing is I've done this before. Sun was shinning and we got out so no harm.

Sunday morning the gang showed up for a little party! Wind was pretty strong but a least it was warm. So glad we have a nice place to have fun for all. Can't wait to have many more wonderful days at the river.
